hotel is quiet and close to the center of San Jose. breakfast is very rich, gym is very complete. pool area is nice. staff is very attentive and professional, especially the receptionist who attended us. room is large.
hotel is a little old in my opinion, it needs a little renovation. Since we entered the room there was an unpleasant smell, like mold or maybe it was the carpeted floor (which by the way had a pretty big stain), you should think about removing it and using laminate or porcelain flooring. Similarly since we arrived, room in front had some kind of vacuum cleaner on, however, it was turned off until the next morning, so it was uncomfortable to be listening to the noise of the engine all night. mirrors in front of each other, creating a double reflection. pool water was very cold, you should think about it being heated. View from the window.

They gave us the room before the scheduled time, since our. arrived very early in the morning. The gentleman who runs the bar during the day, very kind, explained to us all about Costa Rican beers, and suggested places for us to go near the hotel. On the way back, we could use the hotel taxi, it seemed to us a good service, fast,. how and sure, also for the hour they offered us fruit, rolls, tea. and coffee to take away.
The taxi I had coordinated never arrived, there was no one with. my name written on a sign as they had indicated. When I arrived, there was no one to help with the luggage. The bathtub didn't have a plug to hold the water, so I called the front desk and they sent someone over. I never got to use the bathtub, I touch myself. The bed was not as comfortable. I only used the pool once because the water was frozen, as a suggestion it should be. In general the rooms and facilities of the hotel are quite old or at least it seems that way and some of them are neglected, like the bar of the swimming pool. I asked for a room service drink and they never took me.

bathroom is high, clean and aesthetically beautiful. room was well equipped, plenty of places to plug in a laptop or cell phone. hotel itself is good, it has an industrial concept, with exposed concrete, makes it different, I like it! breakfast is very good, you find many options in the menu, taste was quite good (Believe me I have tried many hotel breakfasts, this is one of the best).
mattress of the bed was old and with the internal material worn out by the use, it was like sleeping in "dunes" or in the hump of a camel... back pain the following days I had to control it with pills. Due to hotel policies, if you order food at home, pizza or some fast food, because the menu of the "room service", restaurant you don't want, messenger can't enter after the Lobby, go to your room, you must go out to pick up your food until the Lobby. Although I am Costa Rican, it is the first part of the world where I have traveled that has this kind of restrictions. location of the rooms is a bit confusing.

-The breakfast staff is very attentive and helpful to your needs. Particularly Mercedes and Alvaro are people who make you feel welcome. -The people at the front desk try to arrange for whatever you need. -The pool and Jacuzzi are very good, as is the printing service. Too bad there are only 2 computers and you have to use them because the internet signal in the rooms is bad.
bar manager made me feel uncomfortable by refusing to check my credit, said I didn't have any and didn't solve this situation, all I had to do was go to the front desk to correct that detail. internet in the rooms is not working well. signal is constantly going down. -I asked for three beds in my room and first night we only had two. publicity for the congress I attended said that the hotel provided transportation and it was not true. They don't even have that service available for the trip to the airport. neither for the arrival nor the departure, If you want something like that. it's an additional cost,
